Hypnotherapy
Welcome to Open Skies Hypnotherapy
I’m Emma, a therapist who helps people to live a lighter life. You may not be able to put your finger on exactly what’s wrong, but that’s where I can help. Once we have worked together to identify the issues, whether that be anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, or anything else life throws at us, we can then start to move forwards. I believe individuals can embrace life on their own terms when given the space and tools to do so.
The Power of Psychotherapy
“Out of your vulnerabilities will come your strength”
Sigmund Freud
Using the power of psychotherapeutic hypnotherapy, I help people to live life, not just survive it. I do this by creating an environment that enables them to be heard, a place where they can take back control.
I help my clients to resolve trauma, let go of limiting beliefs, and update their emotional toolbox, enabling them to move forwards freely and authentically, embracing life on their own terms.
getting to the root of the issues
My therapy sessions are designed to help you feel comfortable within yourself. Many clients tell me they no longer know who they are.
I understand what that feels like.
I work supportively with clients to help them rediscover their true identity, shifting them towards emotional freedom and a deeper inner comfort.
Unlike superficial remedies that merely address symptoms, psychotherapeutic hypnotherapy delves deep into the root causes, equipping you with the tools for lasting change.
Long term changes
As a therapist, my approach is more than just professional; it’s deeply personal. Having benefited from many forms of therapy, including hypnotherapy, I understand feeling trapped and disconnected from life. Hypnotherapy not only helped me move forward but also allowed me to rediscover a side of myself long buried.

Hypnotherapist in Norwich
I have a treatment room just outside Norwich where I provide a comfortable space for everyone, including individuals dealing with trauma. This may include PTSD, abusive relationships, coercive control, detrimental habitual behaviour, anxiety, childhood trauma, and suicidal tendencies. I also deal with the physical symptoms that can arise from traumatic experiences, including issues around weight and food, addictions, and nervous system dysregulation.
I have successfully supported many clients, enabling them to break free from the patterns of the past and reshape their future.
Life is brutal
Let’s not dance around this; awful things happen. I specialise in working with individuals who have endured childhood trauma, coercive control and abusive relationships, battled suicidal tendencies, are experiencing social anxiety and have faced other deeply traumatic experiences that left them feeling trapped.
